Do you travel?
We love to travel! If you're interested in wedding videography or photography outside of the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Byron Bay area all you need to do is cover our travel costs.
If we don't live close how do we meet and chat?
Let's zoom, facetime or chat over the phone! Technology is a wonderful thing and we can make it work!
How long will it take you to edit my wedding?
Normally 5-6 weeks depending on the time of the year. During peak wedding season our timeline is 9-10 weeks, but we always do our best to finish your wedding as soon as we can.
Do we need to provide a meal for you?
Yes please! Working an 8 hour+ day works up quite the appetite. A plate of dinner at the reception and a place to eat would be great. Ideally we would like to eat when the bridal party eats so we don't miss any important moments.
Do you include drone footage?
Drone footage is included as part of our coverage, except for when the local rules or weather don’t allow it. This is something we don’t charge extra for as sometimes we can’t fly the drone, but will always do our best to include it!
How do we lock in our date?
To lock in a date, we require a $1,000 non-refundable retainer (per package) that will be deducted from the final balance. Along with the retainer we will need a signed wedding agreement and the date is yours!
How does payment work?
After you have paid your retainer at the time of booking, we ask the that the remaining 50% is fixed up 3 months before the day and the final payment be paid 7 days prior to your day.
What if we change date or cancel?
Our policy for date changes and cancelations includes a non-refundable deposit; this is to protect our business due to turning away bookings that were enquired for that date. If you change date and we are available, we will transfer at no extra cost.
What is your Covid policy?
Organising a wedding during these times is challenging, we get it and understand that this stuff is out of our control. If you need to move your wedding to a new date, we will try our best to accommodate.

Do we have to catch up before the day?
We always encourage a catch before the big day! We want to get to know YOU as a person and not just a client. It helps us tell a better story. That’s why we think it’s important to catch up and ask each other questions and gives us a chance to run through the schedule. We can chat at our office on the Gold Coast, or if you aren't local we can chat via zoom!
Do you make films for businesses too?
Absolutely! Anything non-love related is run through our sister company Boutique Creative House. Go have a squizz!
Can we select our own music?
At White Leaf Films, we are unique in the way we incorporate your vows and speeches into the music to really highlight the true magic of the day. We find the music sets the tone of the film and we like to hand select music that compliments your personalities and the energy of your wedding day. We love putting back into the creative industry, so all music used is paid/licensed music to support music artists. Of course if we’ve used a song before that you love, please let us know! However, we like to use new songs to ensure your White Leaf Film is personalised and unique!
Do you offer albums, prints and other products?
Yes we do! Seeing your photos in print is the perfect way to relive your wedding story over and over again! Don't let them sit on a USB forever - print them! Get in touch to find out more about the many products we can offer.
Will you share our wedding on social media?
Most of our weddings will get shared on our social media accounts in some form or another. This could either be featuring your entire wedding film, a reel or sneak peek images from the day. If for whatever reason you do not wish us to share your wedding day, please let us know ahead of time.
